We want you satisfied with what you buy from us. If something is not right, tell us and we will do what we can to put it right.
Montana Motorcycle Safety Foundation is a brand of Montana Registration Services, a private title and registration company.
If we cannot register your vehicle, you get your money back. Provided you have sent us everything we asked for, and the vehicle has no lien (unless you are financing it yourself) and no active theft report, we refund you in full. If we can still complete the service, even outside our usual timeframes, that full refund does not apply.
You can request a full refund within 24 hours of your order, as long as we have not started work: preparing or sending documents, running a VIN check, forming an LLC, or issuing a temporary permit.
You also get a full refund if we cannot complete the service you bought, on the conditions in the box above.
We start work immediately, so a cancellation more than 24 hours after the order carries a $50 service fee for registration and titling.
Where an order includes a Montana LLC, we file it as soon as you complete the vehicle information form. If you cancel after the LLC has been filed, we refund you minus $300 to cover the filing. You keep the LLC and can use it for a future order or anything else.
We cannot refund a service that has already been delivered, such as a VIN check, a temporary permit, a registration or a title. If work has been done before you ask for a refund, we review the order and tell you what we can return.
If your vehicle is financed through Synchrony Bank and you do not have the title or MCO, we will not be able to register it, and we refund you minus $35 for the time spent verifying the order.
Fraudulent documents may make an order ineligible for a refund.
You can cancel any time before you send us your vehicle documents. Once your paperwork reaches us it goes to the state shortly afterwards, and from that point we may no longer be able to cancel or refund the order.
For registration and titling you have 90 days from the order to send your paperwork in the envelope we provide. After that you can still cancel, but the order is no longer eligible for a refund, and we can offer store credit instead, usable on any of our services and transferable to someone else. Contact us if you need longer and we will look at extending it.
An order with no paperwork after 90 days is overdue. As well as losing refund eligibility, it may attract additional charges if the state changes its requirements while the order sits. We will remind you before that happens, and we would rather extend the window than let it lapse, so tell us if you need more time.
